NiosII IDE Error

I am running NIOSII 8.1 on a windows 7 PC and it crashes out on a regular basis with a Java error. Any ideas how to stop this happening. I have attached a copy of the error message produce...

i agree with BadOmen, but sporadic crashes can sometimes be fixed by bumping up the Java virtual memory. there is an .ini where these are defined, for Nios II IDE it might be:

nios2eds/bin/eclipse/nios2-ide.ini

edit:

-Xmx256m

to:

-Xmx512m

i think this may have been covered in another thread if you search around
