Nios II perspective missing in eclipse on Windows 7 with 10.1

I'm running Windows 7 (64 bit) and have installed Nios II SBT 10.1sp1 and Quartus 10.1sp1. Quartus seems to be pretty good, much better than 10.0; However, Eclipse does not load the Nios...

Yes, I've set the eclipse executables in the bin directory to XP compatible mode with the Administrator option - does not work on this machine.

Luckily I run XP 64 on another machine - else my work would come to a halt.....

I have not found any posts on this issue with 10.1 tools, so perhaps there is something stange about my computer setup, although it is a new OS install with very few applications.

Has anyone else had problems like this - or am I alone...?
