Nios II and Win 7

Hi,

Is the Nios II tool chain supposed to work under Win 7 ?

I noticed that the OS support in the Altera website was modified recently, and I don't see Win 7, just an empty line above Vista. So before beating the death out of my laptop in frustration, let me know if anyone succeeded creating a bsp & application from scratch under Win 7 .

    As long as I run the tools "As Administrator", the GUI or the Nios II Console, I haven't had any issues under Windows 7.

    Thanks ! It did the trick nicely.

    Since I had no problem with Quartus & SOPCB (in User mode), I didn't think it was required to Run as Admin. Good enough workaround for me ;-)
