low ethernet data rate

We have purchased 8 Arria II GX boards and are trying to send 0.25 Gbit/s over ethernet. But the max data rate we can achieve is 3.75 MB/s. Any ideas why? Could it be that our NIOS core is misconfigu...

If You're using LwIP stack and doing TCP/IP connections, then the stack is the bottle neck. LwIP is very slow in this case.

Provide more information about the project and its implementation.
