Latest TCP/IP Stack Available

So according to This Link , starting in Quartus 21.1 (Pro) / 21.3 (Standard) - "The NicheStack TCP/IP stack software and driver package are discontinued". I went around looking for information on ...

    Hi Neil


    Sorry for the barrier of bad news.

    The support for TCP/IP stack is not available anymore for NIOSII.

    This is because there was a security vulnerability that was in the old TCP/IP stack by Niche and there was a decision made to no longer support the TCP/IP stack for NIOSII moving forward.

    The support for TCP/IP will be only for NIOSV onwards.


    There are 2 option moving forward.

    1. Start using NIOSV in your design with the latest supported TCP/IP Stack.
    2. Download an old version of Quartus and use the old TCP/IP Stack with known issue.
