Hi, everybody I&#39;m newbie for niosII uClinux. I want NiosII boot from CFI Flash but I open NIOSII Command Shell can&#39;t find "cd arch/nios2nommu/boot" dir. Is my NIOSII Command shell has some problem? Need you help! thank you for your give me some suggest! NiosQ

The wiki page is updated. You have to build uClinux with uClinux-dist and test the image from sdram, before trying flash programmer.

The wiki page is changed. There is no need to "cd arch/nios2nommu/boot" now. If you have tried from sdram, you should know where is the zImage. ~/uClinux-dist/images. If you work on Linux, open a normal terminal shell. If you work on Windows, you have to copy the zImage to a temp window dir. And work in that dir.

I following your FLASH PROGRAMMER userguide but when I open Nios2 Command Shell and excute "nios2-configure-sof DE2_NET.sof", display follwoing error message: Searching for SOF file: in . DE2_NET.sof Error: Can&#39;t scan JTAG chain. Error code 87. I have try out nios2-configure-sof standard.sof ,but display same error message. How to slove it! I need your help! Thanks you again!

I'm write a simple program tested rs232 serial port, it's ok!

I want to boot uclinux from epcs, but when DE2 powerup my rs232 no any message.

How to solve this problem?

PS: if i want to boot sof from epcs and boot uclinux from cfi flash the "reset address" and "kernel menuconfig"how to select?
