File transfer method under linux

I have a MMU linux up and running but I can't seem to figure out how to configure file transfer correctly. I just want to move a file off the board to my dev station but I can't seem to make FTP or ...

Has anyone recently used with satisfaction fpt? Which system frequency?

Anyway, seems strange this is a clocking prolems because the transfer from the board works well.
