Eclipse in 10.0SP1 - How to change register display default from Decimal to Hex?

In NIOS II 8.1 it defaults to Hex and all is well. In 10.0SP1 it's in decimal and I can't find any menu or preference to make it hex. Does anyone know how?

Also, every time I step the register tree collapses - this is very annoying and unproductive. I assume this is just how it works.
