What do you exactly mean by "doesn't compile" ? What's the error message ?

There could be many cases of issues.

Did you follow the User guide correctly to set the Model (DSP builder installation, discrete solver etc...) ?

If a source is driven by a Matlab variable, be sure it is present in the Matlab workspace etc...
