FIR Compiler

Greetings,

To start, I'm very new to Quartus and FPGA development in general.

I've inherited an FPGA project that's designed in Quartus II 11.1. After compiling, I'm presented with a .sof file with "time_limited." The warnings show that the evaluation period has expired for the FIR compiler, which appears to be part of the "MegaCore IP Library."

Does anyone know how I can purchase a FIR Compiler license or activate an existing one?

    Curious, did you ever figure this out? Seems like this is a very old license of IPBase...new one contains FIR Compiler II which does not seem to enable the old FIR Compiler?
