Availability of R-Tile MCDMA IP for Gen 5 x16 in AVMM/AVST Mode

Hello Intel Community,

I would like to ask if there is any update regarding when the R-Tile MCDMA IP will support PCIe Gen 5 x16 in AVMM/AVST mode on Intel FPGAs. I am currently evaluating options for a high-bandwidth DMA solution over PCIe Gen 5 and this configuration is critical to our design.

If this support is already available, could you kindly point me to the relevant documentation or Quartus release version? Otherwise, any estimated timeline or insights from Intel would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi,

    Gen5 1x16 mode support will be given in a new IP - AXI-MCDMA IP (intel_pcie_axi_mcdma)

    intel_pcie_rtile_mcdma IP will not have Gen5 1x16 support at current moment.

    Perhaps you can take AXI as an alternative consideration. Hope that answered your question.
