Thanks for the clarification. Good that the other modes are still available.
I have been reading this a bit further, and it seems that the 200G HIP block is de-featured, but the 400G block is still enabled. So can't we do 200GE-4/8 using the 400G HIP block?

No problem.
Unfortunately, No. The presence of the 400G HIP does not imply that 200GE-4/8 is an allowed workaround for a de-featured 200G HIP block.
Not sure how feasible would that be but just suggesting, If your design requires use of the 200G Hard IP block, use production devices with OPNs that have "C" suffix.
