when altera cyclone v will obsolete?

Hi,

May i know the life expancy period of altera cyclon V fpga series.i.e,when altera cyclone V will obsolete?

According to the period we have to choose the fpga board for our application.Can you please help me.

    In a very very long time.

    APEX and FLEX devices are still being produced, about 20 years after being introduced.

    no sweat, this is no Asic product that love to obsolete in about 5 years.. haha.

    The Cyclone V devices is in the market for just few years. I think you may only start to worry about obsolete after >10 years.
