I want to use the port VGA of the stratix 2S180 in order to display images on the screen. However this board is not recognized by the SoPC bulider and there is no defined component to connect NIOS with the VGA. So i've to make one by my self. Has anybody tried to design such component interfaced with NIOS?. I don't know how can I make such design. Could you help me please?? Thank, Mouna.
Honored ContributorI had a similar design before, In my design, I design a VGA ip for the avalon, the IP contains VGA timing,fifo,and interface to the avalon, In nios2 , a DMA is constructed to transport the picture data from the ram to the VGA fifo.
