No you can't. You at least need to change the target FPGA in the Quartus project and recompile it.
You'll probably need to check the pins assignments too, except if the board stays the same and device migration was taken into account in the design. - Altera_Forum

Thanks for the reply.
Then are there any resources to download updated files for EP2C20 CycloneII_Starter_Kit-v1.0.0? Because the files I got with the kit contain only one matching pair of .ptf and .sof files that is in CII_Starter_SD_Card_Audio. Other files give errors like verification of certain addresses failed or Pausing target processor: not responding etc. CII_Starter_SD_Card_Audio project does not support LCD, UART devices and since I have QuartusII web edition I can modify and use the existing files also. Please help me with the solution. Thank you, Nishant - Altera_Forum

Did you have a look at altera's page for the kit (http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-cyc2-2c20n.html)? There is an errata (Table 3), there seems to be a missing file that prevents compilation.
They also link to an embedded systems lab (http://www.nioswiki.com/embedded_systems_lab) which seems to let you build a complete configuration for the board.
