Hi,
I have an EPC16 Configuration Device on a Board that is used to configure a Stratix I. It is my only non-volatile memory and I would like to store Data files for the FPGA on it. Currently I program the FPGA and then load the files through a PCI connection, but a future application of my board does not allow me to use the PCI connection. The EPC16 has a 16-bit data bus, but those data lines are not connected to the FPGA. Is there a way to store data so that it looks like a configuration, and the FPGA can get the data on power-up. It might be hard because there are no address lines. I just thought I would put my question on the forum just in case someone has put effort into this, but I assume this is not possible. I attached a diagram of the connections between the EPC15 and the EP1S40. Thanks for reading! -Ben
