New Contributorunique id
does cyclone 3 or 4 E has ip to extract unique chip id similar to xilinx id? maybe user id, something that can be use to id the device.
maybe extract from JTAG, i just need to read it and put in a GUI somewhere

Sorry to tell you that unique chip ID for Cyclone III & IV is not supported for the devices. Kindly refer to the user guide below for further information on which devices is supported.
