Unable to create account to download Quartus II

Not sure if it is helpful to put this here. I have repeatedly tried to create an account to download Quartus II but the registration system keeps telling me that my email format is invalid. I have entered various emails and it will not take them. Any help from someone at Altera who might see this would be helfpul.

    I'm not sure it's helpful either, I don't think any one working on the Altera website is reading this forum.

    I've just tried to create an account with a fake address from yopmail.net and it worked fine, so you must have something strange in the email addresses you are using (non ascii letters, or maybe a space before or after, if you are doing copy/paste) that make the test fail.
