Stratix III Solder Ball Finish

Question

Can some one inform me of the solder ball finish of the Stratix III FPGA? Whether it be tin/lead, RoHs compliant or other.

The specific part number is - EP3SE260F1152I3

Partnumbers of parts that are in any way RoHs compliant will end in an 'N' - e.g. EP3SE260F1152I3n. RoHs compliant Stratix III parts are available.

A RoHs compliant version of that part is available 'direct' from Altera - see here (http://www.buyaltera.com/scripts/partsearch.dll?detail&name=ep3se260f1152i3n-nd).

This is something your Altera distributor should be able to answer for you.
