STRATIX 4 GX PCIe dev. board, failed to program it.

Hello,

I am trying to load a custom firmware on a STRATIX 4 GX dev. board 230 Edition.

The programming process always fails @ 98% reporting

"CONF_DONE pin failed to go high in device 1."

I saw other posts reporting this problem, but for the time being I didn't find a solution to my problem.

The firmware is a button connected to a led ... so nothing fancy here.

Any hints?

Thank you

Are you using the On-board USB-Blaster, or an external one? Some external USB-Blasters have a crummy cable, so give problems.

Have you tried this same test with a known-good configuration file?

Is your board loaded with a 230, or 230ES (engineering sample)? The programmer cannot tell the difference between the two devices as their IDs are the same. However, the configuration files are not compatible, so you need to make sure you select the device that is loaded on your board.

    Cheers,
