SOPC BUilder V7.2 problem for windows 7

I have installed Quartus II 7.2 on windows 7 in which I am unable to open the SOPC builder on windows 7 Everything else is working perfectly except when we click on the SOPC Builder option ...

No, just create the virtual machine, install Windows XP in it and then Quartus. Depending on the kind of virtual machine you use, it may be a bit tricky to make the USB blaster work.

SOPC builder is still available in the more recent versions of Quartus (IIRC the last version that will have SOPC Builder is 12)
