Software Settings file (STF) damaged

Hi, I have a built a project using in 'Embedded_Systems_Lab ' from http://www.nioswiki.com/embedded_systems_lab. But when I try to create an application using this built system I get the error ...

No. I am able to create the required files .pft, .sof etc... successfully.

Is it because of the web-edition of QuartusII?

I tried creating a project from NiosII command shell also but getting the same error.
