Honored ContributorYou want to look at the MAX family. They are the only non-volatile chips (though listed as a CPLD, their fabric is very close to FPGAs).
Honored ContributorLook at the stuff from Microsemi (formerly Actel). The IGLOO families have parts available in packages as small as 6x6mm. Not awesome performance-wise, but truly awesome power-wise. And non-volatile (flash based).
