Serial flash loader with svf

Is it possible to program EPCS16 with Cyclone III through JTAG using SVF file?

I used to configure Cyclone III fpga through JTAG using SVF file. Now I would like to make step forward and store configuration in FLASH device.

What is the procedure of programming FLASH device?

Is it as simple as configure FPGA by Serial Flash Loader SVF file and then, sending SVF with configuration I want to store in to FLASH device?

Do i need some specially prepared SVF file or this created from Quartus Programmer aplication is the proper one?
