SATA support in stratix II GX

I want to know any body implemented sata2 /sata3 in transceiver signal integrity development kit, stratix ii gx edition (http://www.altera.com/products/devkits/altera/kit-signal_integrity_s2gx.html) ...

Stratix II GX Transceivers support PCI Express (PIPE) which has out-of-band signaling. Would it be possible to utilize it for sata?
