Remote configuration over PCI Express on Stratix IV

I was wondering if it possible to remotely configure a Stratix IV or it's serial flash loader over PCI Express. I'll be using Altera's PCI core and avolon bus for CPU to FPGA communication.

I'm reading about Remote System Updating and Dynamic Configuration, but can't really find the answer I'm looking for.

    I think the SFL only works from the jtag interface. But you can add your own logic in the FPGA that takes data from the PCIe interface and uses it to reprogram the flash. Then the remote system updating IP can be used to trigger a reconfiguration of the FPGA from the flash memory.
