Real number on FGPA Virtex II

I need to use real numbers in a math processing in FPGA Virtex II, but I don't know what is better, verilog, or vhdl? Can you help me?

it depends on your familiarity with coding style, go for verilog if you are familiar with C syntax. in the end of the day, it's all about designing logics so whichever language is fine.

ps. Virtex II is not an Altera's product :)
