Use Quartus to answer this question for you. Put a small project together for your chosen part. Constrain the I/O as you require, run it through the tools and look at the generated .pin file. It will tell you what to voltage to connect to the VCCPD pins.

Alternatively, refer to the guidelines in the cyclone v handbook (https://www.altera.com/en_us/pdfs/literature/hb/cyclone-v/cv_5v2.pdf). They are very clear. See the "guideline: use the same vccpd for all i/o banks in a group" section on page 5-18.

Hi,
.pin file is not getting generated. I believe fitter is not generating that report due to following error. Error " Error (169215): VCCIO assignment (2.5V) on I/O Bank 3D cannot be applied Error (169325): VCCPD3 cannot use 2.5V because it is using 3.3V Info (169323): VCCIO 2.5V requires VCCPD 2.5V. " I have made the following assignments: Bank VCCIO 3A 3.3V 3B 2.5V 3C 3.3V 3D 2.5V Thanks and regards Mahima Satsangi - Altera_Forum

Hi,
In the handbook, I hvn't found anything about using different VCCIOs within same group (3A,3B,3C,3D).
