Question regarding VCCIO of arria V SX series

Hi ,

I am planning to use 5ASXMB3G4F40I5N in my current project.

I am using Bank 3A and 3C for 3.3V LVCMOS signals.

so my question is can i use bank 3D for LVDS signals.

if i can use it then what will be the VCCPD for group ( 3A,3B,3C,3D )?

thanks and regards

Use Quartus to answer this question for you. Put a small project together for your chosen part. Constrain the I/O as you require, run it through the tools and look at the generated .pin file. It will tell you what to voltage to connect to the VCCPD pins.

    Cheers,

    Hi,

.pin file is not getting generated. I believe fitter is not generating that report due to following error.

Error " Error (169215): VCCIO assignment (2.5V) on I/O Bank 3D cannot be applied

Error (169325): VCCPD3 cannot use 2.5V because it is using 3.3V

    Info (169323): VCCIO 2.5V requires VCCPD 2.5V.

    "

I have made the following assignments:

    Bank VCCIO

    3A 3.3V

    3B 2.5V

    3C 3.3V

    3D 2.5V

    Thanks and regards

    Hi,

In the handbook, I hvn't found anything about using different VCCIOs within same group (3A,3B,3C,3D).
