Hi,
I want to try out the Nios II Fast processor, been using the economy so far. When I compile, I get a warning : Unlicensed IP: "Nios II Processor(6AF7 00A2)" and no .sof or time limited sof file is generated. I use Quartus 10.1sp1 and under License Setup I have Subscription Expiration of 2010.11. When I ask for another Quartus Web Edition license on the web site, I get by email a .dat file, which once loaded in the License Setup, still seems to have 2010.11 for Subscription Expiration, and the Licensed AMPP box is empty. The "Disable OpenCore Plus hardware evaluation" option is off under "More Compilation Process Settings". Should I be getting at least a time limited .sof to try the Nios II /f when I compile? Altera_ForumThanks, only removing db/ and incremental_db/ did the trick.

It hasn't been archived (to my knowledge) and was created with 10.1 (without sp1).
I just tried a brand new sopc with the /f processor and onchip memory only. The compilation generated a time_limited.sof file - I thought it would have failed as well. Then back to my initial project, it fails. I guess I can build up my sopc from scratch with the /f processor, however this is going to be time consuming. Anything I can try to make this work? - Altera_Forum
you can try to clean up the original project, delete all of the SOPC Builder generated files, remove the db/ and incremental_db/ directories, then regenerate and recompile
