proxy settings

when starting up Quartus 10.0 on Linux, does the tool "phone home" to Altera via the proxy settings it used when it was installed? trying to figure out what is different between 9.1 and 10.0 in how it starts ups.

    the proxy is set in Tools > Options > Internet Connectivity. not sure if the installer would automatically set the same proxy for Quartus
