problem of install the NIOS2eds & modelsim

Question

I have a problem of installation of NIOS2eds & modelsim under ubuntu 8.10

I have to install at first the quartus 9.1 SP1 Web edition, then that one I install nios2eds the following message appears:

the configured quartus II version [quartus-unknown]does not match the current NIOS II EDS version[9.1].

Ensure that the quartus ROOTDIR and SOPC_KIT_nios2 environnement variable are set correctly.
