pre-emphasis filter of 50us

Hi

I read a lo about the pre-emphasis filter and now I want to design fir filter for pre-emphasis filter. I want to design it for audio case that after this filter i have to design fm modulator. please please help to find out how can i design fir pre-emphasis filter. I saw a lot that they use the coefficient of [1,-0.975] for fir filter. is it correct?

pleaseeeeeeeeee help me:confused::(

    I'd suggest doing a modeling/simulation with math cad tools (e.g. MatLab) and find the correct coefficients. MatLab has great macros for filter designs. Later You'll just copy those coefficients to FIR compiler.

    thanks for reply. will you please explain more. I tried for 3 days and now I am confused and i don`t know what to do. just more help to find the best fir pre-emphasis filter for audio process.
