power harmonic measurement

hi frndz....

i want to measure power harmonics using fpga. so actually i dont know how to implement fft on fpga.

i am giving you some specification about my task.

i am using altera fpga development kit board.

want to find power harmonic from signal 50Hz and 230v line voltage.

so anyone can tell me the steps about how to implement fft on fpga board.

i am new in codding.

plz plz help me...fast...
