PI controller in VHDL

I need to code for PI controller in VHDL where i tried for along time but it doesn't work and i need it it is very important for me.

    I have implemented many PI controllers in VHDL. What is exactly not working? Are you keeping all the bits in the integrator? Is your scaling correct? Do you have a Matlab or Python model that predicts what the PI should do?
