NiosII Processor design corrupted

hi,

i try to run some project from nios ii example but console return an error :

Using cable "USB-Blaster [USB-0]", device 1, instance 0x00

Pausing target processor: not responding.

Resetting and trying again: FAILED

Leaving target processor paused

this error is very usual, as i see many of us have the same problem!!!

i think that the "nios II design project" for cyclon II is corrupted.

when programming FPGA with (.sof) demonstration from altera CD, the HEX leds in DE2 board shows 0. and the programme run.

But when programming FPGA with niosII example the HEX leds in DE2 board turn on random and does not show numbers.

every project which didn't shows number in HEX leds, didn't run.

i try to open and compile the "nios II standar design" and it has error!

if anyone has a design of niosII which is not corrupted please do upload..

    finally i found the solution,

    the "design of niosII_2c35.qpt" processor was corrupted , when i programming FPGA and try to run programme the processor didn't responding and return an error message.

    when loading in FPGA the processor NiosII, the HEX leds should be zero.

    otherwise the program most often will not run.

    ΤΗΕ SOLUTION

    Programme FPGA with NIOSII_disign located in Altera cd.

    DE2 System V1.6 --> DE2_demonstrations-->SOPC_Builder-->Reference_Design-->DE2_NIOS.

    after that select for your example the same processor.

    DE2 System V1.6 --> DE2_demonstrations-->SOPC_Builder-->Reference_Design-->DE2_NIOS.

    and complete all steps as the guide suggest.

    Run as niosII hardware.

    Hi,

    I am intending to buy laptop for NEEK development, there are UART (RS-232) and USB Blaster (USB), whereas, laptop has only USB ports, would there be any problem during development? How do you work around this?
