NIOS II & QSYS question

This is the first time I try to use NIOS II. My questions may look very basic sorry for that.

What are the minimum components do I need in Qsys in order to read data from keyboard and display it using VGA?

Can I use both NIOS II & QSYS without writing VHDL or Verilog?

What are the steps to create a GUI using NIOS II ?
