Network Manager problem

Hello,

please I need help ,

I Follow this tutorial ftp://ftp.intel.com/pub/fpgaup/pub/intel_material/17.0/tutorials/linux_on_de_series_boards.pdf

I downloaded the linux distrubtion I try to connect my board to the Internet using Wifi adapter

but here I found this problem when I try to launch this script as show in the tutorial

./connect_wpa <SSID> < password>

I see this error in the terminal

stop: Unknown job: network-manager

Any one can help please
