Need Help...can't install MAX+PLUS II BASELINE Software Version 10.2

For school, I am required to use the program MAX+PLUS II BASELINE Software Version 10.2. Unfortunately, every time I try to install I get this message:

In the top left of the error box it says: Can't run 16-bit Windows program

Across the center it says: Cannot find file C:\DOCUME~1\(my name)\LOCALS~1\Temp\pft38~tmp\SETUP.EXE (or one of its components). Check to ensure the path and filename are correct and that all required libraries are available.

I executed the baseline10_2 application from the c:\ folder and I am running XP SP3.

At first, I thought I might not have completed the download, but I downloaded it again and same thing. I've read the readme file. That didn't help.

I would greatly appreciate some help getting this resolved.
