modify vga ip from altera

I have my tft lcd of 640 x 480 resolution ( 565 rgb ) and want to modify vga ip from altera ( pixel buffer and vga dac ) . Under vga dac .v there is two variables I do not know how to amend , that is NUMBER_OF_BITS_FOR_PIXELS and NUMBER_OF_BITS_FOR_LINES

Are this two values equal to 5 ??
