modelsim-Altera6.5b starter edition

Hi, I just download modelsim-altera6.5 starter edition. it runs good before my system crashed. after I power my system on again. it is a Dell D830, windows XP. I couldn't run it again. after I double click the icon, there is a Modelsim picture flash away and nothing happen. I had reboot system and same thing happen. any suggestions.

    i figured out that if you couldn't run cmd.exe then it won't work. try run cmd.exe see what happen.

    this is the response, only logo show up and nothing, cmd is empty

    for my case, when I couldn't run cmd.exe, then Modelsim won't start. but once I can run cmd.exe then everythink oK.

    I don't know what happened in your case.
