Migrating from MAX 9000 to MAX II or MAX V (logic porting )

Hi, I'm new to CPLD/FPGA. I want to check the feasibility of transferring an existing MAX9000 based design to either MAX II or MAX V series.

I would like to know if there is any support or documentation for transferring the logic written for MAX9000 part to either MAX II or MAX V with minimal effort.?Or can you please tell me what will be the process recommended?

    How is the design captured?

    It should be as simple as throwing the original code through Quartus and targeting the new device. Have you tried that?

    I'd suggest anything captured for MAX9000 should quite easily port to either MAX II or MAX V.
