MAX V (and other MAX's) clear SRAM without NVM erase

I wonder if there is a way to halt-and-clear the PLD execution via JTAG to restore the device SRAM fabric to a condition conforming to its standard BSDL file.

Something similar PULSE_NCONFIG instruction in the Cyclones and Stratixes.

It is of course possible to erase the device but if one does not need to erase the NVM, just to test the device/board, this kind of mechanism would save time.
