make error in simple socket server plus

Hi,

Did anyone encountered the error:

"In function '_reader_r' ...///..reader.c:58 undefined referance to 'read' ".

The error is viewed while running the script of simple socket server plus (sssp) in 'make' phase. I can't build the NIOS II software project for sssp and I need your help.
