License file

Hi,

my license file (floating network license) generated in MyAltera contains 2 FEATURE lines with the same name "quartus", because I added seats. License server however ignores the second FEATURE line. How can I fix this?

    I asked at mySupport whether it can be done. They redirected me to Altera University Program (these licenses are for university) where I filled up License Request Form and it got approved.

    Within flexlm you can only have one FEATURE with the same name per license server, but it is possible to have multiple INCREMENTs. (you might consider an INCREMENT to be an incremental FEATURE). I don't know if Altera are willing or able to issue increments as these can be combined with other increments or a single feature successfully.
