Just installed Quartus ii ver 10.1

Hi,

I am using a Quartus II at work and tried to install the Internet free web version on Windows 7 at home to be able to design at home, anyway it looks a bit diferrent.

My question is, I can't find the simulation tool I used to launch after designing a block diagram

What I am doing at work is to open the Processing tab >> Start Simulation and start simulation.

The web edition seems not to have such a structure. i searched the internet and cannot find any clue to what I might be missing

Anybody knows what I am doing wrong? Does the web edition comes with a simulator from the first place?

The Quartus simulator was removed starting in Quartus 10.0. This is true of the web edition and the subscription edition. If you want to use the old simulator, you need to install an older version of Quartus. The other alternative is to stick with the latest version of Quartus and use the ModelSim simulator instead.

Thanks so much for the reply. I installed an older version and now it is Ok.
