New ContributorIs there a pin compatible part replacement for EP1C20F400C8N from cyclone family? What are the steps I should take while replacing an old FPGA with newone?
We are trying to upgrade our systems with new FPGA. The old board uses EP1C20F400C8N and they are getting obsolete

MPN: EP1C20F400C8N Package/Case is FBGA-400.
I couldn't find any active part which similar to this Package/Case.
No, You can still use the same RTL design, but the bit files have to change for new FPGA.
