Is there a pin compatible part replacement for EP1C20F400C8N from cyclone family? What are the steps I should take while replacing an old FPGA with newone?

We are trying to upgrade our systems with new FPGA. The old board uses EP1C20F400C8N and they are getting obsolete

There is no pin to pin compatible replacement part for EP1C20F400C8N.

You're right. The part is getting obsolate because of declining demand.
