image processing using FPGA

hello everyone.

im starting a project on FPGA, and the main feature is detecting a vehicule.

i have seen many projects do detect a vehicule using OPENCV.

but i want to do the same on FPGA, is that possible? and what equipment and requirement it needs to accomplish this project. i tried to find similatr project, but it's almost impossible to find! anyhelp?

any idea, advise, or a link that can help will be really appriciated. thank you
