I work with Fordham University. We bought FPGA DE4 that came with Altera Quartus II version 9.1 software cd. We need a license subscription for the software.

Need to purchase license for Subscription or Pro or Std Edition of Quartus tool.

Or

We can use Web or Lite Edition of Quartus tool.

Solution:

1. You can download Quartus 10 Web Edition which supports Stratix IV.
2. Please refer to Intel® FPGA Licensing Support Center to get started, find information on license types, getting a license file,setting up a license file, and resolving license-related issues.

Otherwise for license file request and activation, log in your “My Intel” account to find Intel FPGA Self Service License Center and submit Contact Customer Service form
