Altera does not provide the part marking verification as we want to avoid the devices came from grey market. https://www.altera.com/support/support-resources/knowledge-base/solutions/rd11102010_938.html Altera has its authorized distributor to sale Altera Devices. If the customer got the devices from you, they should be valid Altera devices. Otherwise, Altera do not ensure the device quality and do not provide the further service.
